Physical
Appearance:
Being born a Hapan, a handsome people by nature, and of bronze skin,
Jyn stands 5'11" tall weighs about 190 lb., jade green eyes,
descriptive of his personality, and short blonde hair.
Armaments:
Jyn like to be prepared to defend himself should one of his
sniping holes ever be discovered, or he has to make a covered escape
from enemy lines. He carries an X-95 sniper rifle, modified to Hapes
standards, and a standard issue BlasTech BE-25 blaster, which he
has tinkered to make far more accurate, and added a hair trigger.
Homeworld:
Jade has never told anyone…
Before
the time came for him to have to make his own way in life, as well
a choose sides, while under the moral tutelage of his parents, Jyn
learned that above all else personal pride, self esteem, and your
own well thought out opinion were worth more than anything else
in life. During his youth, Jyn's personality surfaced, revealing
him to be secluded, a deep thinker and passionate about everything
e set his heart to. In addition to being secluded and well thought
out, Jyn his own acute moral sense, and fought fiercely to defend
those he thought were being wronged and to be a voice for those
he thought right. It was also discovered he had an amazing mind
and memory, which probably was why he had a knack for sniping and
was a very talented mechanic.
All this development
happened under the watchful eye of his Grand Mother, his maternal
grandmother. She often saw Jyn's father shining through him; she
had never liked him, even that first time she met him with her daughter.
She also despised his rogue opinions. How could she have an heir
that thought nothing of respect to the Empire? Yet she simply could
not get rid of him, he was her only heir.
While for the
better part of childhood Jyn remained silent and normal about the
ideas forming under the surface, as puberty rolled along, Te'Chasme
found her grandson's open disgust for the Empire simply intolerable.
She endeavored to have his parents punish him, but neither would,
believing he had developed his opinion with the right amount of
information, and so he couldn't be at fault.
With Jyn spouting
his idea's openly throughout the family, many old hatreds began
to again come alive, using the civil war issue as a trigger, and
Jyn as the gunman. At the time, he didn't realize how serious the
game he played was.
From even before
he was born, Jyn's grandparents didn't like each other; in fact,
they were polar opposites. His father's side was pro rebellion;
his mother's favored the Empire. The marriage as only allowed because
both sides saw the love their children had for each other and agreed
to stop fighting over it. If push came to shove, Te'Chasme could
just order the whole family into place, and command her family in
good Imperial friendly style, but she hadn't yet. She had hoped
that perhaps it would not be needed.
Bitter opposition
stoked into an open flame, and the two families were all but feuding,
their only tie was the marriage of Jyn's parents. But apparently
the time had come for drastic measures, for no sooner had Jyn reached
his majority, than he was ordered exile by his grandmother, Te'Chasme.
He had one last
meal with his parents, and paternal grandparents, who supplied him
with a ship, an X-wing modified to include the better part of Hapan
standards, a sniper rifle, with a wink and a nudge to find his niche
in life, a small prototype headset, a super sophisticated Holonet
transceiver, which could store about six Holonet addresses in it's
computer, which was stuffed in an electromonocle, with sensors in
the IR, UV, and NVG capability. As he turned to face his parents,
an R6 unit painted in the color that most accurately described him,
for his personality, and striking eye color, jade, rolled to his
side. Finally, he was presented with two X-wing sized storage compartments,
one bearing clothes; the other stuffed with food.
"Go, my
son," Jyn recalled his father saying," Find peace in your
life, and never ever lose your pride."
" I love
you," Hs mother was saying," Find a nice girl someday
and settle down in peace, don't take up our fight forever."
With those last
words, Jyn jumped in his cockpit, and blasted off out of the Hapes
Cluster, now dangerous and deadly, that which he had once called
home, now foreign and hostile doomed only to memory, and maybe one
Holo of the world the way he had seen it as he was leaving, and
headed out to contact the Rebel Alliance.
