A-PD5 (Advanced Protocol Droid 5)

A prototype protocol droid designed with advanced functions such as being able to connect to a computer terminal much like an R2 unit, and built in with internal sensors and enhanced viewing capabilities, only 3 of these droids remain. A-PD5 was the fifth in its line of production, and the first to pass all the tests necessary to ensure its survival. After years of service it was granted the opportunity to advance in rank and selected communications, due to its programming and skills. A-PD5 served on many Calamari Cruisers, Frigates, Corvettes, and knows all their specifications to the last detail. Maybe this is why Captain Talina Gen'yaa asked it be assigned to her ship, so it may inform of any modifications done without her consent. In any case A-PD5 has a very defined personality, and although it has a male gender program prefers to be acknowledged as a machine. A-PD5 is also known as 'twinky', for a slight blinking of one of its eyes whenever anyone thinks its trying to be funny, show anger or appear more humanlike. It is, in any case, the only being onboard the Wolf's Lair that will give you a straight answer be you the captain, a guard or a pet!
